Luba started her career back home in the southern province of Russia when she was only 14 years old. She arrived to the states in 1997 and landed in New York City where she quickly established her reputation for her versatile and fresh styles. Luba was meticulously trained and worked side by side with some of the top stylists and hair colorists in the industry.
Her continuing education includes studying the techniques of REDKEN, WELLA, LOREAL, SCHWARZKOPF, and VIDAL SASSOON. Specialty includes: Coloring, Hairstyling and Eyebrows shaping. Luba prides herself on the quality of her education and strives to deliver extraordinary services to clients consistently.

Senior Stylist / Master Hair Colorist
Hi there! My name is Almira and I have had a passion for hair styling all of my life. I began my career at the age of 18 in Ex-Yugoslavia, where I earned my first cosmetology license. Eventually, I brought my skills with me to NYC, where I obtained my second cosmetology license. As I worked in high-end salons, and participated in coloring and styling classes, I met many great stylists and clients.
I master in hair cutting, styling, coloring, perms, Keratin and Brazilian smoothing treatments, Balyage, and bridal styling for 20 years. I can also speak many different languages such as English, Bosnian, Serbian, and Russian. I love my job because I enjoy meeting new people and helping them achieve their beauty goals. My goal is to always create a relaxing and enjoyably appointment for all of my clients at the Salon De Larue. I look forward to meeting you and styling your hair!
